When conceptualising my images I always focus on the authenticity of the explorative creative process, merging reality and fantasy through photography alone and simple steps in post-processing. What I love most about the style is the challenge of visualising my ideas and concepts born from grounded handwork and photography. The big challenge is to find a balance between realism and surrealism so that the viewer gets a true-to-life impression of the story.

I`am a scientist, photographer, and artist from Germany. I have been working intensively with photography for about 15 years. In the course of time, I discovered my passion for the small and inconspicuous things in our world and specialized in artistic close-up and macro photography.
