In ancient times, gods and demons created Amrita, the nectar of immortality. During the struggle, drops fell in four sacred places, including Prayagraj, site of the Kumbh Mela. This gathering takes place every 12 years, where pilgrims purify themselves in the Ganges. In 2025, an exceptional cycle of 12×12 years, over 400 million devotees attended. Ceremonies, processions, and blessings from sadhus made the Kumbh Mela the largest spiritual event in the world.
