The Warao, known as “the boat people,” inhabit the Orinoco Delta in Venezuela. Their lives are inseparable from the water — children learn to paddle before they walk, families travel and live by canoe. This series portrays daily moments of a Warao family surrounded by river, forest, and parrots. Through laughter, silence, and reflection, it reveals both the resilience and fragility of a community whose identity is bound to the waterways.
