Using a 0.3-megapixel toy camera and a slow shutter, I captured the scene as soft currents of light and shadow. In Japan, goldfish are intimately tied to the image of summer, and through this image, I sought to evoke the fragile, fleeting impressions of a season remembered. The blur and grain create a dreamlike atmosphere, shimmering and wavering like a memory of summer fading into the past.
