Fentanyl is an opioid around 50 times stronger than heroin. Just a few doses can lead to addiction, and overdosing is frighteningly easy. In 2023 alone, fentanyl claimed over 70,000 lives in the US. Its victims are often homeless, seeking tragic escape through drugs. This documentary series explores isolation, homelessness, and addiction on the streets of Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2024.
