On June 7, 2025, a boat carrying 54 migrants was left adrift in the Mediterranean after running out of fuel. Coming from Libya, they were rescued after spending three days stranded on the Didon oil platform, without water, food, and in extreme conditions. A woman gave birth there. The Astral ship from the NGO Open Arms evacuated them in a four-hour operation, and then the Italian Coast Guard transferred them to a safe port. This documentary project captures, through images, the harshness, hope, and humanity of a story that mirrors thousands more along the migratory routes to Europe.
