In "Art de fact" I reflect on the zeitgeist, which seems increasingly surreal to me due to its instability, unpredictability and unreality. If today efficacy means more than truth, virtuality increasingly replaces physical reality, and affects dominate meaning and reason, then (only) art can provide support, orientation and meaning. In my opinion art should not communicate moral or political convictions but represent plurality and ambivalence. The work is based on photography. I work digitally “by hand” (photoshop), use collages and montages, no AI is used.
