‘One Drink Too Many’ is one of the many images of an irreverent but ironic photobook I’m working on, ‘The Quiet Terror Of Being Alive (Or How To Stop Existing Without Dying)’. The protagonist of the story, consumed by the suffocating routine of his daily life, embarks on a psychedelic journey that lands him into a kaleidoscope of colour, where the laws of physics hold no sway and the boundaries of reality are but a distant memory.
Travezán began his photography career as a photojournalist before expanding into fashion and portraiture. Over the years, his work has been published in magazines such as i-D and Elle, and in newspapers including The Guardian, El País, and The Huffington Post. In 1999, he briefly returned to photojournalism to cover the Kosovo War. Today, he is primarily engaged in fine art while also exploring music, GIFs, and video. His work has received numerous international awards.
