Hidden in the courtyard of an office building in the Schwanthalerhöhe district of Munich, the savvy tourist will find a unique sculpture by Olafur Eliasson. The endless staircase is called Umschreibung which is the German word for ‘circumscription’ or ‘periphrasis’. The sculpture was finished in 2004 inside the headquarters of the KPMG trust.
My passion for photography began in my youth with analogue experimentation. What started as an attraction to unconventional images evolved into a personal vision: photography is not about recording reality, but revealing what we choose to see. The camera becomes a pretext to give form to images already present within us. Through a conceptual, minimalist and creative approach, my work seeks to suggest rather than explain, leaving space for emotion, silence and personal interpretation. Photography, for me, is an act of listening—making visible what already exists within.
