I have tried to show something different in these pictures than normal sports photography. This highly aesthetic sport deserves to be portrayed in an artistic way. The absence of full bodies is intended to stimulate the viewer's imagination. The images were taken in 2023 during an annual decathlon in my hometown Ratingen, near Düsseldorf (Germany) and at the German Championships in Düsseldorf.
