I created a small series of self-portraits, inspired by classical painting. My images are transported to the Renaissance and Baroque era. All images are created from scrap materials, fabrics and clothes.
I'm Diana Trillo, portrait photographer. It is in photography that I have found a form of personal expression that allows me to creatively bring my ideas and projects to life in new ways. Studying and inspired by the origins of classical painting, admiring the canvases of great masters such as Rembrandt, Da Vinci and Caravaggio, I was able to reproduce this in photography, transferring the character to the distant past, telling everyone his amazing story, showing his character, style and sophistication.
