Traditionally the Italian city of Torino, my hometown, is associated with an esoteric and magic symbolism. This project aims at portraying some of the town buildings, old and new, in a dreamlike fashion that suggests an underlying ambiguity and hints at hidden meanings. The resulting metaphysics is enhanced by the absence of the human figure. Yet, the lit windows in some of the pictures imply a human presence, discrete, anonymous but still so essential.
