I began photographing myself with an obsolete professional instant camera and expired film in direct light and long exposures to experience and portray the significance of a room in my encounter with interior emotional and psychological space.. As the pandemic ground time to a halt and the life I knew was suspended, I became ever-more introspective. I meditated facing an open camera shutter and vanishing light beam. The photographic medium, so uniquely in tune with loss, allowed a view of myself continually evolving, a ghost of previous selves.
