A trip to the coast in Essex, England had been well overdue for some long exposure coastal photography. The sun was not playing ball this evening, but what kept playing over in my head was how the lighthouse resembled the pixelated enemy alien. So I created my tribute to the highest-grossing video game of all time and for all those who spent hours trying to defeat wave after wave of descending aliens with just a moving horizontal laser.

The great outdoors is where I have always found my photographic inspiration, making its way into the majority of my images. I am fascinated with water, interpreting movement and orchestrating varied and rugged landscapes. My work can be described as authentic and minimal. I am passionate about sustainability, conservation and the natural health benefits of the great outdoors.
