Accelerated Intimacy considers questions of site, memory and staging in relation to time. A parallel to her previous methods of compositing and reconstructing documented images; Choo re-presents fragments through time, reconstructing a potential narrative surrounding each character .Rather than offering any kind of resolution to histories of the characters and site, Accelerated Intimacy is a culmination of carefully constructed coincidences that are unfinished and ongoing; revealing and establishing complex relations with each reading.

Sarah Choo Jing (b. 1990, Singapore) is known for her interdisciplinary approach to photography, video and installation.
