The Sultanate of Oman is one of the driest countries in the world. The country therefore is host to some of the most spectacular deserts in the world. The Empty Quarter and the Wahiba Sands deserts are the best known. Spectacular views on top of the hills or from above with a drone leave you humbled. A group of camels in the Wahiba Sands desert in Oman is best be seen from above during sunset. With the play of the shadows following the topography of the dunes, it is an ever changing scene. Travelling in this desert is a meditative journey.
