Hudson Yards broke ground in 2012 as a multipurpose project with retail, cultural and commercial spaces, along with housing and parks. It is now the cultural center of Manhattan's New West Side. Set at the apex of the High Line, it includes super-tall skyscrapers as well as the bronze Vessel stairway and city-sponsored arts center called the Shed.
