Israel was fighting for its democracy. Now, it is fighting for its existence. There was a great dispute between the two main parts of the Israeli people, but the horrible attack by Hamas united the Israelis together. These photos captured some of the significant moments from the stormy demonstrations on the left side of the Israeli political map up to the latest individual protests by family members of the Israelis kidnapped to Gaza. Noa, an Israeli singer, and a peace fighter, fought for Israel's democracy, but no one imagined how far and insane our reality would change.
