The series "Unattainable Beauty" deals with the unrealistic ideals of beauty that continue to be conveyed through advertising and social media, despite movements to the contrary in recent years. In order to address these absurd ideals of beauty, which one can hardly escape contemplating in daily life, I created unnatural beings from flowers - the symbol of beauty and youth par excellence - who pose in front of the camera like models with anthropomorphic gestures. The new obviously not naturally grown "super flowers" stand for an unattainable beauty that has been artificially created.
