The recent demonstrations in Israel against the proposed judicial reform have evoked strong reactions from various sections of society. Thousands of people have taken to the streets. The reform, initiated by the government, aims to alter the appointment process of judges and limit their power. Critics, however, argue that the true intention is to undermine the independence of the judiciary and consolidate power within the executive branch. The protests have united citizens from diverse backgrounds, including legal professionals, civil society activists, and ordinary citizens.
