Simplicity and Tranquility of the Japanese wood houses possess Zen Philosophy in them. These houses, built during Japanese colonial era (1895-1945) in Taiwan, were mainly for residential or guest houses purposes. Today, these renovated houses are used for art gallery, lecturing room, and music performing center.
