Strange and tragic is the Bushmen’ fate, or better to said, the San’s fate. Hunter-gatherers, indigenous inhabitants of Southern Africa, First People if any, they have roamed the south of this continent where Homo Sapiens appeared 200,000 years ago. Gradually chased away from the richest and the most game abounding lands by the Bantu speaking Africans coming from the North and East, then methodically exterminated by European settlers swarming from the Cape Colony, they have survived in the amazing but so harsh Kalahari desert.
