This book is about nostalgia, myself, and life. I was born in a small town along the river in China, which is an ordinary town with a small population. People live a simple life and rely on rivers for survival. As an adult, I traveled along the river to live in a bigger city by the sea. The big city is prosperous, but I also see people's loneliness and sadness. Looking at the same river, I couldn't help but think of my hometown. It is just like the river of life, you can't sail against the current. We swim from the small river towards larger rivers and also towards broader loneliness.
