Cherry blossoms are often called ephemeral because they only bloom for a few days. Yet if one day we will not meet again, it will be me who will not be there. I often wonder how many more times I will be able to see the cherry trees. This series is a reflection on transient and permanent, mortality and eternity.

Amateur photographer based in Tokyo, using artistic photography to explore universal patterns in nature. Visualizing structures and forms that transcend species, time and physical reality helps me interrogate transiency and permanence, frailness and robustness, and find fundamental beauty in everyday life.
