There was weeks of planning that went into this shot. Trigonometric calculations were performed based on the distance from the CN tower. It was matched with the corresponding compass bearing to determine the precise location of the sun during the eclipse! To see this eclipse first hand evoked a strong cathartic emotion in me. There was a stillness in the air, as I watched the rising sun with good friends who accompanied me so early in the morning.
