A series of promotional character portraits of the talented principal dancers of Scottish Ballet, posing as Aphrodite and Eros in the company's latest production, Starstruck! The show was a wonderful contemporary reworking of the legendary dance maistro Gene Kelly's ballet "Pas de Dieux", which was lovingly written for and performed by the Paris ballet at Palais Garnier in the 1960's, and brought to life this year in colaboration with Gene's widow Patricia Kelly.

Gavin is an award-winning freelance photographer, currently working on a major long-ter commission for The Royal Opera House and The Royal Ballet in London's Covent Garden. He originally trained as a classical and jazz musician at London’s Guildhall School of Music, before moving to Paris as an artisan baker. His photographic work is as diverse as his background, telling thought-provoking stories through creative imagery. He draws particular inspiration from the art, design and photography that he was exposed to during his time in Paris.
