This portfolio selection is composed of portraits with dark background as negative space. I usually depict nude people, because nudity is an allegory of our true self. For me, it's the best way to describe the human beings' identity and emotions in an authentic way, whether in their greatness or their weakness, without any kind of disguise.

I'm a nude photographer based in Spain. My work is influenced by the sculptures of Ancient Greece and starts from the premise that aesthetics precedes the message. My message is essentially influenced by Carl Gustav Jung's concept of analytical psychology, especially the concept of "persona". My work focuses on the symbolic use if postures and shapes, the play of shadows/light, textures. The scenes I photograph are made up of few elements. Normally a single subject, lots of negative space, no accessories (or rarely). The essential meaning of the message is transmitted by the isolated body.
