These photos symbolize the warmth of a summer day, the carefreeness and beauty of the little things in life. Each plant in these photos carries a memory of the summer spent on the Adriatic. I collected them every day on the way back from the beach. Although they are dry and seem lifeless, they carry within them the seeds of new life. To emphasize their delicate and fragile structure, I photographed them submerged in water. The colors in the photos are intentionally reduced to warm which symbolizes the warmth of the sun in summer or cold, which represent the color of the Adriatic Sea.
