Solid Dreams

The pictures are part of an ongoing project investigating from an artistic point of view the connections among form, space, geometry and symmetry. Buildings are decontextualized and reduced to pure form. Lights and shades are superimposed to create a dreamlike atmosphere loaded with undertones of uneasiness and mystery. The day/night ambiguity is inspired by some works of Escher and Magritte.
