Alpe Devero is a magical place where time seems to have stopped in 1700. Today protected for its naturalistic and landscape value, located on the borders of the Veglia / Devero Natural Park, Alpe Devero has been an object of interest for some time by foreign investors who are planning new invasive speculation. Over the course of two years (2018 and 2019) I wandered among the enchanting places of Alpe Devero, breathing deeply the sense of well-being and freedom, wondering how the appearance of valleys, lakes and wooded slopes would change following an invasive anthropization intervention.

Marcello Vigoni was born in Milan in 1979. After studying graphics and photography, he founded in 2001, with two friends, the web site Devoted to the production of standard cars, where he works with photography in editorial key, publishing works on several industry headlines nationwide. His personal research brings him to deepen and experiment with different techniques and photographic languages, approaching, in full antithesis with modern and digital modern times, to work analogically and choose black and white as a definitive expressive figure.
