Eye of the Earth. This shot of a small glacial lake surrounded by ice was taken from a float plane in Denali National Park, Alaska. Perhaps it was my most exciting visual experience while flying over there. This photo is best viewed on full screen (or printed in a large size). The structure of ice and snow creates an interesting effect. If you defocus your gaze, you can see a fragment of the face of an animal (polar bear?). Caution! If you look at it for too long, you may freeze:)
