The lady with the pomegranate was inspired by the paintings of old painters. There is so much pure love in her, but the world she lives in is not favorable to women. In my head is Stefan Zweig's novella, "A letter from a stranger". Pomegranate represents her wounded heart, expectations that were not fulfilled in love. Dreaming about becoming a bride to her love, her dreams may or may not come true.

Biljana Radojicic, born in Belgrade, Serbia, is a self- taught and an Award-Winning photographer who has always been passionate about art, life and beauty in every form. She always has been inspired by the female body and faces and carries this inspiration out in her captivating self-portraits in which she plays very different roles. Woman, as well as her emotional nature, have always been in her research focus. Inner life, interpersonal relations, are an eternal inspiration for her.
