Blooming is a series dedicated to portrait and nature, a project that start in 2020 and is still a work in progress as it is gradually enriched with new textures, my inspiration comes from contemporary Illustration and Painting. The human figure are mixed in a digital collage made of flowers, poem, birds, romantic texts creating new dream realities by reconnecting with nature, explore the new with photography and graphic. Represent dark, bizarre, eccentric aspects of life for to provoke an emotional response in the viewer.

Carmelita Iezzi is a freelance photographer, visual artist and professional graphic designer based in Italy. After graduating in Art School,  Carmelita got her BA in Graphic Design and Fine Art Photography at the Design Academy of Ancona, Italy. She has achieved international recognitions, in 2023 Awarded Bronze PX3 Prix de la Photographie, 2021 Bronze TIFA, 2018 Carmelita was honored with the prestigious Sony World Photography Award with a work for the project "I am a dreamer" and was awarded First Place absolute and Gold in the Fine Art Category at the Tokyo International Photo Awards.
