With all the talk about caring for our environment and for nature in general already going on for decades, we as humans still can't be bothered to clean up our mess behind us - to the contrary, we still oftentimes just leave it lying or standing around in landscapes that are supposed to be beautiful but instead are marred through our contribution. The images of this series are shot in Norway, India, Australia, Germany, the Galápagos Islands and Argentina.

Born and raised in Berlin. Studied law in Berlin, timpani and percussion in Essen, Copenhagen and Duesseldorf. Professional timpanist and percussionist, permanent member of the Wuppertal Symphony. Took up photography in 2007 while on tour with the orchestra, hooked ever since. Main photographic subjects include people, nude, architecture and landscape photography. Avid traveller and travel photographer.
