From April to May every year in Taiwan is the festival of Mazu, the god of the sea, and many temples will celebrate this festival. I have recorded great photos of events over the past few years. The characteristic of Beigang Temple to welcome Mazu is the bombing activity of "Mazu sits in a sedan chair and sets off firecrackers". Believers pile firecrackers under the sedan chair. Of course, the carnival has other wonderful performances.
