The solarisation process intends to create an other-worldly feel. I've described this series as a journey to alternate realms. The process is similar to that in my portfolio"Playing with Fire". If JMW Turner was a photographer, perhaps he would have taken photos like these! Turner was a great influence in my work as an artist. This portfolio is an homage to him for his skies, moody seascapes and his drama. *I have been taking photos for many years but am somewhere between amateur and professional. If professional denotes income as a main profession, I would describe myself more as amateur.
