Out of the Easy is the culmination of a thorough photographic investigation into the dynamic relationship between word and image. A literary enthusiasm for American author Truman Capote served as the impetus for this book, which uses a visual atlas to depict a different America from New York to New Orleans. Along with polaroids and brief texts, the book includes 100 color images from 2018 in which the place serves as a pretext for an exercise in memory and imagination.
