Natcha Wongchanglaw’s Postcards from Fremont looks at American life in the small Michigan town where she lived as an exchange student years ago. Along with her recent photographs of Fremont, the series features old snapshots from the year she spent there, which was both her first exposure to an unfamiliar culture and one of the most formative experiences of her life. The artist’s intent is to explore the relationship between memory and modern realities.

Natcha Wongchanglaw, a Thailand-born, US-based visual artist, explores themes of home, culture, community, and identity in her work, incorporating her own experiences. Her work has been featured in national and international exhibitions, including The Presidio in San Francisco, LensCulture New York 2022, and the RPS International Photography Exhibition 164 in the United Kingdom, where she was awarded the IPE. She's also a winner of Nikon Photo Contest 2022-2023.
