My daughter wears a kimono every year and I shoot as my work. This is the girl's fashion in late Edo period in Japan. Even thogh it was hot summer day , she did her best as a model.

I live in Kanagawa, Japan. And a mother of two daughters. I won Tokyo Camera Club’s top 10 Viral Photographers of 2014, and am a member of OLYMPUS ambassador. Taking pictures of my children motivated me to start photograhy in earnest. Lately, I create a series of works named ”Unusual Portraits”. In the series, I make a story first and then draw a rough sketch before I take a picture. I'm using OLYMPUS PEN EP5.
