Fishing boats resting on the muddy banks of Karnaphuli River, during low tide. ⁣ ⁣ Karnaphuli is the lifeblood of Chittagong city, around which a vast majority of activities take place. Fishing communities live in villages in areas close to the river banks, generally at the very edge of the landmass where land is least productive and subject to erosion. The river is the gateway to deep sea fishing as it is directly connected to the Bay of Bengal.

Photography is my calling, my profession, and the thing that will never get me tired of picking up my camera and 'going to work'. I photograph subjects the way that they make me feel and the way they touches my emotions. It is an honest concept and it's the best way to describe my approach to the craft.
