New York City's skyline is characterized by its glamorous Art Deco buildings built in the 30s. In this series, I am creating "postcards" of the iconic Art Deco buildings of my city against their contemporary backgrounds with an eye to capture a modern-day fairy tale.

Bahar Kural is an award winning photographer specializing in abstract, street, architectural and documentary photography. Bahar has won 105 awards since she started entering prestigious international competitions in 2020. A native of Istanbul, Bahar lives in NYC with her two children where she runs her own full service real estate development firm. Bahar specializes in building small-scale developments from ground up and restoration projects in NYC and Turkey. Her passion for creating beautiful spaces goes hand-in-hand with her passion for creating unique photographic art.
