Last expedition to Lofoten was memoriable. To make a long story short, its not very common to get a permission to enter the country from Norwegian border police. Do not need to mention a mandatory quarantine for arrivers. On the other side, it was completely different Lofoten we used to – and we will hardly something experience it ever again – no tourists, few locals. For reward, there were beautiful autumn colours. Very similar to what we experienced in legendary 2017. Panorama compiled from total of 90 frames (3-level exposure bracketing of 26 frames in two rows, 12 antireflex frames).

Jan Šmíd is exclusively a landscape photographer with a special focus on panoramic photography, For his work, he uses modern photography methods like exposure bracketing, antireflex, focus bracketing, parallactic mount, etc. He has been organizing photography workshops for seven years; he organizes photo expeditions and runs an Individual Photography School.
