Light is the essence of photography. It touches the subject to make it visible, it creates shadows, or it's not there at all and leaves everything in the dark and invisible to the human eye. For this fashion shooting with Nicole I experimented with light and movement. The room is dark, the shutter open, the model is moving the fabric of her dress. You alone decide what is visible and what isn't, what is blurry and what should be defined. The light wanders along the body and freezes everything it touches along the way. The result is always unique, no photo will be the same as the last one.
I'm a Swiss born photographer and videographer living in Barcelona. I love to photograph people, as well as taking my camera on a hike or travel, always trying to find new artistic approaches and ways to transmit emotions through my photographs. I'm passionate about what I do, I'm an obsessive learner who spends most of the time watching, reading and creating, always on the lookout for inspiration, always thinking of the next project. Accept critique, grow from it, and never stop until you're satisfied. "Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working." (Pablo Picasso)
