Huang Chan-Fung is the heir of Yun-An Drum Craft Club. The hand-made drums, which require about 30 days with over 20 process to make, are mainly used in temples. Most of the resident in the village which the craft club locates have moved out for seeking new jobs, making the Huang’s family the only few remain and meanwhile, preserving the heritage business from the last generation. The craft club exhibits handcrafted drums in a complete piece or in fragments to display the manufacturing process. Mr. Huang offers improvisation in drum perfomance to amuse the visitors, also to enrich his life.
