I long for a world that is idyllic. Seeking calm in the midst of a storm and dancing in the stillness of a moment suspended in time. Witnessing nature’s graceful, sensual curves and catching a glimpse of where beauty resides. Finding courage to be open and vulnerable, but also unbreakable. I want to linger for a bit on the edge of the impossible. Accessing this parallel world that is spectacular, beautiful, serene and eternal is my way of finding pleasure rather than escaping from pain. Uncovering its mysteries makes life feel bearable, worthwhile, divine.

Tash Damjanovic is a Canadian, Toronto-based fine art photographer, and has spent 25 years creating, and the last 7 years actively exhibiting her abstract, painter-like images.
