Gatsric bypass surgery is a radical procedure done in cases of chronic obesity when dieting and exercise are simply not sufficient to achieve one’s desired weight. I first met Rita about a year after her bypass surgery. With a nigh-90kg loss behind her at that point, she was nowhere near satisfied with the results, as it became increasingly clear to her that she has to go through at least six plastic surgery operations for her self confidence to return and start living life to the fullest again.

Krisztian Kosa is a late bloomer. He was organising papers and filling out spreadsheets before taking up a camera at 42. In 2020 he completed a course in Press photography with the Hungarian National Association of Journalists. Traces of documentarism and street photography can both be found in his artistic perspective. He has been addicted to street photography for 4 years now.
