Emptiness - Frankfurt-Airport - Covid 2020

After 3 and a half month in isolation in Cairo, Egypt we were finally able to fly back from Cairo to Vancouver, Canada with a 19 hours stop over at the Frankfurt Airport. It was the night from the 18. May 2020 when we found a place at the Airport and we tried to sleep. I took my camera and tripod out and to be honest I was shocked how empty on of the biggest Airport hub in the World was. I took the opportunity and documented our experience during the night at the empty Airport. I met a couple other passengers during my walk along empty hallways, empty check-in gates and silent speakers.
