The point of departure for The Family was a disappointment, a dissatisfaction with image, with the passing of time, with choices and chan- ges that occur as a consequence of actions we undertake. I see all activities related to the series in terms of self-therapy, which I perform through using and recognising emotions that accompany me both during the creation of the works and when I am around my close ones. The Family is a record of memory because, while retaining its autonomy, it complements the issue of perceiving identification. The series is the essence of myself.

Anna66 Andrzejewska was born in Bedzin, Poland. She is a member of Association of Polish Art Photographers. She is a winner of many competitions. She has had individual and collective exhibitions all over Poland and abroad. Works as Assistant Profesor at the University in Lodz, Poland.
