As an Australian artist ( based in Sydney) I was compelled to create a work that expressed the emotion and trauma of 2020; a year of devastation to many communities and environments. In January most of Australia was on fire, with 46 million acres of land burned and 80 per cent of World Heritage areas destroyed. Many lives and homes were lost as well as thousands of wildlife, and as the nation was grieving and trying to rebuild Covid 19 struck. A pandemic that enforced border closures and lockdown."2020 Vision" features a figure amidst a burnt landscape; socially and environmentally isolated.

For the last 25 years , after graduating from the South Australian College of the Arts with Majors in cinematography and photography I began exhibiting as a visual artist in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. My work has been exhibited by Stills Gallery (SYD), Greenaway Art Gallery (ADL), James Makin Gallery (MEL), Robert Lindsay Gallery (MEL), Hill Smith Gallery (ADL) and M Contemp Gallery (SYD), as well as having solo exhibitions in London and Shanghai. My work has been widely collected privately, and is held by SA Art Museum, WA Art Museum, Art Bank.
