Yantian Salt Collectors

The mountainside salt field is located in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. I used the AFC chase mode to photograph the salt-collecting process of labors at 33 degrees Celsius. The collectors push the white crystals in the brine to the side of the field and then shovel into the field to form a triangular cone. Day after day, year after year, their sweats of hard work as if the rains. I photographed white crystals on their clothes, just do not know whether it is the crystalline salt of sweat or saltwater!
